Aged in used American oak bourbon barrels for 24 years, this Joel Richard Esencia 25 Year Rum is distilled 70% in a continuous column and 30% in an alembic pot.
Nose: Strong aroma of oak wood, dark chocolate, cream, dry seeds, walnut, and Christmas cake.
Palate: Berly sweet with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, nougat, caramel, and smoky oak.
Finish: Soft burn with citrus, spices, and sweet oak.
